The heavily-laden caravan suddenly appeared out of the desert sands, like an apparition, stiring up plenty of dust on the uneven streets of the village. Seconds later, we would have missed it.

This painting was accepted into Richeson International Figure/Portrait Competition, and won awards at Artist Alpine (3rd Place) and Rockies West National Exhibits.
